Zuma 125 or Honda PCX or Honda ADV? - Adventure Rider
Apr 29, 2016 · The Zuma is only a 125 but has a 4 valve head with variable valve timing so it seems to be comparable to most 150cc scooters. The bodywork on the PCX and ADV will make servicing more expensive or complicated if you do your own. The PCX and ADV have front wheel ABS. The Zuma doesn't have ABS.

The rear tire was replaced at 6400 miles with a Shinko. The front tire lasted until 11,500 miles. Used a Shinko as well.

There is a a HUGE selection of aftermarket products available for the Zuma, so you can upgrade the brakes, suspension, and even increase displacement to 206cc. If it were me, I would have started with the Zuma 125 if it were available.

Dec 13, 2007 · The Zuma, modded, will need gearing to get the high speeds desired by the OP. Just adding higher final drive gearing will reduce your top speed. Add in all of the mods and you have the power to pull that tall gearing.

May 30, 2024 · I commute with it but stay on main roads that are 40-45 mph speed limit. With the extra 5 or 10 mph over drivers normally do, that is still reasonable for the Zuma. Shift that to a low speed highway of 55 mph limit, and you will be topped out on the Zuma at approx. 65 mph and you don't want maintain those speeds for a long period on your scooter.
