Oct 24, 2023 · I’m Marisa Kabas, a Brooklyn-based independent writer and reporter. After watching the journalism infrastructure crumble over the last decade, I decided that I needed to have a place where I could share my work and thoughts no matter what.

I'm a New York-based journalist and activist. By day, I work as an Editorial Campaigns Director at Purpose, and on the side I continue my career as a writer. My work has appeared on NBC Think, GQ, Rolling Stone, and Glamour. I was a sex & life reporter and editor at Fusion, and before that, a lifestyle staff writer the Daily Dot.
