The Texans have hired Rams passing game coordinator and tight ends coach Nick Caley as their new offensive coordinator after a week-long search. The former New England Patriots tight ends coach will now upgrade in place of Bobby Slowik, who was fired following last month’s divisional-round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Nick Caley worked with tight end Rob Gronkowski in New England and QB Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles on his NFL path to the Texans.
