Liverpool captain, Virgil van Dijk has hit out at Everton for turning up in ‘their cup final’ against the Reds in the Premier League derby on Wednesday. Liverpool were on the brink of going nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table after Mohamed Salah’s goal 14 minutes from time in the derby at Goodison Park.

Liverpool drew 2-2 at Everton with the final game at Goodison Park ending in chaos. Quickly, though, Virgil van Dijk's focus turned to the bigger Premier League picture.
