Sixers’ Joel Embiid May Require Another Knee Surgery
Sixers center Joel Embiid has had very limited availability for Philadelphia this season due to a lingering left knee ailment that he has been dealing with since last February. A year ago, Embiid incurred a lateral meniscus injury against Golden State, underwent surgery, and made a hasty return in April for a playoff push.
A team source said Embiid and the Sixers have consulted more than a half dozen doctors regarding treatment of his left knee.
