Following the Chiefs' AFC championship game victory, Andy Reid explained why the Chiefs' quest for a three-peat isn't 'motivation.'

Chiefs coach Andy Reid appeared to acknowledge the controversial fourth-down call in his postgame presser when he noted how "lucky" his team was to come away with a win. "Literally a game of inches today. We were lucky to be on that side of it today. We had the most inches," Reid said.

Right after the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, an unreal stat surfaced about Andy Reid, who is the current Chiefs head coach and spent time as the Eagles head coach earlier in his career. "Andy Reid is the winningest head coach for both teams in the Super Bowl," Ed Werder wrote on X.

It's an impressive feat for head coach Andy Reid, who has been with Kansas City since 2013. With Patrick Mahomes, Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy, the Chiefs are looking to attempt a Super Bowl three-peat—something that's never been done before.

While the Kansas City Chiefs' pursuit of an elusive three-peat is well-documented, Andy Reid's team also made history following Sunday's AFC Championship Game win over the Bills.  The Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to play in five Super Bowls over a six-year span.
