Executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas is looking to make changes to the roster and continue the overhaul he left unfinished from the summer, but it's easier said than done right now.

But for the past few seasons, it has been the same disappointing story at the Windy City. Given that the Bulls are continuing to listen to various trade offers, it's easy to see why Chicago is leaning more toward their rebuilding plans. And if things continue to stay as they are, a new era will have to be postponed further.

The Chicago Bulls have almost accomplished the impossible with Lonzo Ball this season. Getting him back on the court was enough of an achievement. Ball has excelled far beyond that milestone, regaining the confidence and creativity that once put him among the top point guards in the NBA.
