The most open FA Cup fifth-round draw in years has produced four all-Premier League ties but guarantees one Championship team will be in the quarter-finals. Holders Manchester United have been handed a tough draw at home to Fulham after beating Leicester last Friday thanks to a controversial added-time Harry Maguire goal.

Since Wigan shocked Manchester City in the final in 2013, only six different teams have won the competiton – Manchester United (twice), Man City (twice), Arsenal (four times), Liverpool, Chelsea and of course Leicester (all once). After the fifth round, the competition moves to the quarter-finals, which is the last round before Wembley.

Plymouth Argyle, who stunned Premier League leaders Liverpool, will lock horns against Manchester City as the fifth round draw for the 2024-25 FA Cup season was announced on Monday.
