The Nintendo Switch 2 release date may have just been leaked by a retailer and its listing for the new Nintendo console.

Nintendo said it would announce additional details about the console on April 2, 2025. In an accompanying press release, Nintendo said it would allow customers to test the Nintendo Switch 2 at events in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas in April, with other events planned across Europe, Asia and Australia through May.
