Despite being "neutrals", no Indian ICC match officials will travel to Pakistan for the upcoming Champions Trophy.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced a list of 15 match officials, including three match referees and 12 umpires for the Champions Trophy 2025

According to PTI, India's only representative in the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, Nitin Menon, has opted out of officiating in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan this month due to personal reasons. Javagal Srinath is also not part of the referee panel.

A list of 15 match officials was released by ICC on Wednesday, which featured three match referees and twelve umpires for the marquee tournament.

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is the 9th edition of the tournament that started in 1998. Notably, the tournament which is set to go underway on February 19, marks a return after 2017. Pakistan beat India to win the 2017 event. Meanwhile, this year's tournament is set to be held in Pakistan and the UAE.
