Federal investigators were working Tuesday to find out what led a pair of private jets to collide on a runway at a small airport in Scottsdale, Arizona, killing one person and injuring four others.

One person was killed and at least three others were injured in Scottsdale, Arizona, after a business jet — owned by Vince Neil of the band Mötley Crüe —crashed into another plane as it landed on Monday.

It appeared that the left main landing gear of the arriving jet failed, resulting in the crash, an airport official said.
