Could be - depends when they deadheaded the last lot - it takes about 52 days for a new set of blooms - there weren't many out when I was there in October.

There could be a plaque beside it using that phrase but I don't remember seeing it. If I get up there again, I'll check it out.

Sorry can't be of any help. Walked from the hotel to Cable Car and took the cable car up the hill.

It depends how fast you walk? But I would set aside an hour.
